My name is Shiori Koizumi. I'm sixteen years old, and in my second year at Hope's Peak Academy. I'm a Super High-school Level Sharpshooter...and that's about it.

Shiori wistfully stretched as she got out of bed, and sighed. Her second year of high school was almost over, and she was hesitant to be done, since everyone knew your third year of high school was filled with studying for placement exams and the like. I wonder how Natsuko feels about this...

Hope's Peak Academy was the most renowned private school in Japan, and many longed to be accepted into its menagerie of talented students, all rewarded with a "Super High-school Level" title based on their skills. Few were scouted, but those who were were considered the absolute best of the best. Going to Hope's Peak meant success for the rest of your life.

But in reality, the school wasn't that huge a deal to its students. Shiori would leave from her dorm room, attend class, eat lunch with her friends, finish classes, and spend the rest of the day chatting or studying, then sleeping. It was rather...normal. Nothing ever seemed to happen, after all...

Natsuko rolled over in bed, slapping at her alarm clock. "Shuuuuuuuuuuut uuuuuuuuuup..." She groaned, knocking it off the bedside table. It squeaked a little louder, then shut off as she pulled her pillow over her head.
Only a few more early mornings... School was almost over for the year, but she couldn't decide if she was happy or not. Sure she was looking forward to a vacation, but she like her school and her friends...

Shiori, upon getting ready, slowly peeked from behind her door out into the hallway, all the way down to the opposite end. There was a crowd of people gathered around one room in particular, and she sighed again. Well, it's now or never...

She raced down the hall and was nearly squashed by the group of girls surrounding a single figure. "E-excuse me...p-pardon me...c-coming through!" The girls hardly budged a centimeter, so Shiori decided to crash her small frame into the wall of people with all the force she could muster.

She finally found herself nearly flung into the young man's arms, and looked up into clear blue eyes, blushing. "G-good morning."

Natsuko elbowed her way through the crowd, looking flawless, as usual. "Move it or lose it, girls!" She warned, temper flaring. Finally, she ended up next to her best friend and the dweeb that girl was in love with. "Morning, Sunshine! Ready to face the day?" she chirped.

"A-ah, yeah!" Shiori quickly jerked away from the boy's arms and laughed a bit nervously. "I-I'm sorry about the fuss, Togami-kun..."

Togami scoffed, and pushed his glasses up. "Those girls get even more obnoxious every passing day."

Natsuko rolled her eyes. "What's with these crazy fangirls anyhow? They're like vultures circling. It's creepy." She shuddered. "Geez"
