Pet Peeves, and other Things to Avoid

1. God Mods.
If you have an all powerful character, or a character who is constantly aquiring new powers, you are guilty of this. Any character who lacks weaknesses or magically dominates the situation all of the time is no fun to roleplay with. Crying or Very sad Try to keep your characters powers to a reasonable limit, no matter how awesome they are.
2. Chat Speak and Grammar.
If u tlk liek tis, n nvr typ ny vowels, i may kill you in ur sleep. just sayin. Mad
3.Character Control
If its not your character, you cannot speak for them or force them to do anything, ESPECIALLY NOT FALL IN LOVE! Evil or Very Mad If you want your character to be in a relationship with another person's, send them a PM and talk about it.

Please feel free to add your own concerns to this thread, but anything mean or crude will be deleted. king

Two words: Mary-Sues. In my ignorant and misguided youth, I have been guilty of making quite a few of these, but it doesn't make them any less annoying. No, your Princess Goddess Chosen Hero Sparklypoo Barbie who can do no wrong and is oh-so poifect is in no way original or interesting.

This might be me being a grammarnazi, but I hate it when people don't use proper grammer or spelling in their RPs. I'm not talking about something like a simple misplaced comma or occasional typo, (believe me, I do those all of the time Razz) I'm talking massive amounts of injustice to the English language, like not putting dialogue in quotations or not indenting between paragaphs or not even capitializing names. Grammar rules exist so that we can all understand what you wrote, people, at least be aware of the basic ones you learned in first grade. /endrant

That aside, I have to agree wholeheartedly with everything posted, especially the Godmodding.
